What exactly does ComplianceGuard AI scan for?
We run 97 GDPR-specific checks (covering Articles 5, 7, 12, 13, 14, 17, 28, 32, and more) plus 68 WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility checks. This includes cookie consent banners, privacy policy completeness, third-party data processor inventory, image alt text, colour contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, ARIA labels, and much more. Every check is mapped to the specific regulation or criterion it covers.
How long does a scan take?
Most sites complete a full scan in under 3 minutes. Larger sites with hundreds of pages may take up to 10 minutes. You can continue working while the scan runs — we send you a notification (email or Slack) the moment it finishes.
Does the free trial require a credit card?
No. Your 14-day Professional trial starts immediately with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, you can enter payment details to continue, or your account automatically reverts to the Free plan — no surprise charges.
Is my data processed within the EU?
Yes. All scan data, reports, and account information are processed and stored exclusively in EU data centres (Frankfurt). We are ourselves GDPR-compliant and publish our own Data Processing Agreement (DPA) — available on request.
Can I scan multiple domains?
The Professional plan covers one domain per account. Enterprise plans include multi-domain management and are priced per domain bundle. Contact our sales team for a custom quote.
How current are your compliance rules?
Our rule library is updated monthly to reflect the latest regulatory guidance, DPA enforcement decisions, and WCAG updates. We track decisions from the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection (BfDI), the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), and enforcement actions across all EU member states.
Can I use ComplianceGuard AI to prove compliance to regulators?
Yes. Our PDF reports are formatted for regulators and include the specific article, criterion, or law each check maps to — along with a timestamp and scan ID. Many of our customers present these reports during DPA audits as evidence of ongoing compliance monitoring. However, no automated tool is a substitute for qualified legal advice.
What happens when we cancel?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. Your scan history and reports remain accessible for 90 days after cancellation so you can download everything you need.
